SEEDS OF HOPE GREENHOUSE OPENS
Seeds of Hope Greenhouse will begin selling bedding plants starting Saturday, May 12th. Some of the bedding plants for sale include: petunias, geraniums, marigolds, snapdragons, dusty miller, and vegetable plants. Plants will be sold while supplies last.
Greenhouse Hours:
Daily: 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

SUMMER VOLUNTEERS WANTED
We are looking for volunteers to help around FELC during the summer months. Volunteers would help with office tasks or help prepare program materials for Summer Day Camps. Office volunteers would mainly be responsible for answering the phone and taking messages while our teaching staff are busy with Summer Day Camps. These office volunteers would also help with camp registration. We are looking for help primarily in the morning, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., while our Summer Day Camps are in progress.
We would also like help preparing education supplies for summer camp activities. These volunteers would complete various tasks like copying papers, cutting out pictures, pre-measuring supplies, preparing art materials, etc. If you would like to help with these jobs, we can arrange a weekly time to volunteer or set up times on a week to week basis.

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE
The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center is seeking interns for summer and fall semesters/quarters. We are looking for Education Interns and Administrative Assistant/PR Interns. During the summer months, the Education Interns would be assisting with the Summer Day Camps: supervising campers, leading activities, and planning camps. During the fall months, the Education Interns would be assisting with school and scout programs. The Administrative Assistant/PR Intern would help with office and promotional tasks: answering the phone, coordinating summer camp registration, updating databases, creating brochures/flyers, writing press releases, etc. We are willing to coordinate with the student and college to make college credit available.
